Spic ‘n’ Span

The peas burned last night and put a nice thick coat of black carbon on the bottom inside of the pan. Here’s a little kitchen tip I used last night to get the pan clean. I squirted ketchup all over the blackened part of the pan and let it sit overnight. The acid from the tomatoes loosened the carbon, and it rinsed right off with the ketchup. (I think anything with a tomato base works—spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, etc…) After a minimal amount of scrubbing, here is my spic-and-span pan! Try it sometime!
